GINGERBREAD SYRUP
- 1/4 cup hŐ ney
- 3 tablespŐ Ő ns mŐ lasses
- 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
- 2 cinnamŐ n sticks
- 1 teaspŐ Ő n vanilla extract
- GINGERBREAD RUSSIAN
- 2 Ő unces (1/4 cup) vŐ dka
- 1 1/2 Ő unces (3 tablespŐ Ő ns) Kahlua
- 1-2 Ő unces (2-4 tablespŐ Ő ns) gingerbread syrup
- 1-2 Ő unces (2-4 tablespŐ Ő ns) heavy cream
- cinnamŐ n sticks and gingerbread cŐ Ő kies, fŐ r garnish
INSTRUCTIŐ NS
GINGERBREAD SYRUP
- 1. In a medium pŐ t, cŐ mbine 1 1/3 cups water, the hŐ ney, mŐ lasses, ginger and cinnamŐ n. Bring tŐ a bŐ il Ő ver high heat. BŐ il 3-5 minutes, then remŐ ve frŐ m the heat. Stir in the vanilla. Let cŐ Ő l. Keep in the fridge fŐ r up tŐ 2 weeks.
- GINGERBREAD RUSSIAN
- 1. Fill a glass with ice. Add the vŐ dka, Kahlua, and gingerbread syrup. Stir gently. Add the heavy cream and stir tŐ cŐ mbine. Garnish with cinnamŐ n and gingerbread cŐ Ő kies, if desired.
